About the Job

We’re looking for an innovative and strategic Chief Marketing Officer (m/f/d) to join the Marketing Department at Project A and drive growth across our portfolio companies and external partners. In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on overseeing all marketing activities, developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives, and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Our Marketing team includes a group of curious, data-driven experts who help our portfolio companies grow their user base. The team covers all areas of programmatic paid media, customer engagement tactics, demand generation, marketing automation & MarTech, and Marketing Ops.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across our portfolio and external partners to drive brand growth, customer acquisition, and retention
  • Identify and capitalise on emerging marketing trends and technologies, including AI, to ensure we stay ahead of the curve
  • Provide expert marketing consultation to our portfolio companies, tailoring strategies to their unique business needs and market environments
  • Facilitate workshops, trainings, and ongoing support to ensure effective implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence
  • Utilise analytics and data-driven insights to optimise strategies and drive continuous improvement
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team, highlighting successes and areas for growth

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in consulting and advising on marketing strategies for multiple businesses or clients
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand development, and performance marketing
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Demonstrated success in managing budgets, marketing operations, and driving growth
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Feeling comfortable getting your hands dirty to get things done

Please note that we are looking for support in our Berlinoffice. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
